When Spring Comes

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” – Genesis 8:22 KJV

How many of you all are excited that spring is here? I am exuberant! Winter isn’t really  my thing, except for the hot chocolate and marshmallows part.

Spring means new beginnings, happiness, and surprises. Here are some photos of peach blossoms, unfolding their pink-tinted petals to enjoy the sun, and rosy buds peeping out from their fuzzy beds.

A beautiful flower that will later turn into a juicy peach! Yum…

Spring means fluffy lambs, beautiful blossoms, lengthening days, bees, and warmer weather. Plus a great intro to the ultimate surfing season: summer!!! In spring, you can really understand how many blessings God has bestowed on you. If you even tried to count them, it would take you days and days!!!

The verse that I quoted in the beginning of this post reminds me of God’s promise that there will always be different seasons, a “seedtime and harvest,”  and day and night. This is God’s covenant to us. One that He will never break. Truly, He is an amazing God.
